Featured in Horse & Hound, the FR Vincitore Original Reins feature an innovative and patented safety connector designed to release in a heartbeat in the event of horse or rider getting caught, or if the reins get snagged.

The FR Vincitore Original Reins are designed in Britain and crafted from a slim profile high-quality leather with soft bio-grip technology to offer unrivalled grip, sensitive communication between horse and rider and exceptional comfort.

The FR Vincitore safety system is the result of years of careful design and extensive testing at AMRC Cymru, part of the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre’s network of cutting-edge research and development facilities. Its experts extensively tested the quick-release connector at its state-of-the-art facility in Broughton and the result is safety reins that you use just like ‘normal’ reins, but that release in a split second when you need them to The FR Vincitore Original Reins are available in black or Havana brown leather in pony, cob or full size, and you can choose from a chrome or gold coloured quick-release connector for the ultimate combination of style, substance and safety.

There are different safety connector options to choose from depending on the rider’s weight, so they are suitable for children, men and women. Our reins are British Eventing and British Show jumping legal, and you can buy replacement connectors (you can reuse the same one up to three times).
